Internal Sales – Engineering Manufacturing (Mechanical Products)
The Role
White Label Recruitment are currently representing a global engineering manufacturing business who manufacture a bespoke product into a very varied and impressive client base. This is an exciting time to join the business as they are growing and have increased by 30% last 2-3 years. They are the biggest UK independent in their field!
Role and Responsibilities
- Deal with more complex quotes / account management
- Have to use costing systems or calculations
- Quotes from technical drawings
- Upselling and cross-selling
- Costings – what margins to apply to make profit
- Monitoring accounts and getting in touch with old accounts with little orders
- Phone through lapsed clients
- Understand commercial conditions / review POs
- Understand different materials / country of origin, temperature and pressure etc
- Investigating customer complaints
Experience required
- Experience quoting/selling a mechanical product ideally- pumps, valves, seals, gaskets, etc are all of preference
- Experience of order entry
- Self motivated, organised, team player with excellent communication skills
- Customer focused
- Excellent IT skills using Microsoft Office

- 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs and 8am-1pm Fridays
